I started writing at a young age. I read a lot as a child, and my vivid, fertile imagination was always encouraged by my family. Even back then I read everything from Shakespeare and Lewis; Agatha Christie and Dashiell Hammett; JRR Tolkien, Poe and Lovecraft; H Beam Piper and Robert Heinlein. I have spent time working in a maximum security prison (three years on the mental health ward) and served in the military. I had traveled extensively as a musician and have worked for over thirty years in the engineering environment. These short stories were written over many years and I was finally talked into putting out a collection, which turned into three with more to follow.
